MINIMAL PREPARATION

The surface should be clean, grease-, wax- and silicone-free. Intact old coatings are easy to grind. Weathered wood surfaces must be sanded down to the durable wood. Dusting of polished wood surfaces well. No sanding and primer is necessary, but if you paint with light colours, in order to avoid bleed through / discoloration due to tannic acid, we recommend applying our highly effective Lignocolor 2in1 stain blocker & primer beforehand.
